Active Eye On Active Portfolio
05/13/08
—
It’s time for some investment talk. I have several portfolios that I have to maintain on a regular basis. First, there’s my Permanent Portfolio, then there’s my Active Portfolio. In my active portfolio, I maintain long-term stocks by purchasing more or selling for some good gains. Unfortun...

05/12/08
—
In this episode, I go over how I have done for April 2008 and I introduce the brand new set. It’s not much, but it’s a start. As time progresses, we’re going to see some really big improvements. I can’t wait to see the final outlook. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the new numbers, and ...
Passing On The Savings: Netflix Free Trials
05/10/08
—
Another one of my weaknesses before my turnaround point was buying DVDs. Since my change, I became a member of Netflix and have been a member for a few months now. I, now, spend less than $6/month when I used to spend $60/month (or somewhere around that figure). I may not get to keep the movies, but...
Have You Googled Yourself Lately? Part 2: One Month Later
05/09/08
—
Remember from last month, I took the time out to go over my Internet Presence. What would happen if I googled my own name? I pulled up the results and displayed the first 5 pages of what showed up under my name “Anthoney Grigsby”. Admittedly, there were a couple of search results, I could have...
Amazon.com vs NY & The Internet Sales Tax
05/09/08
—
I heard about this a few days ago and even today I am still shocked of the news of New York Internet Sales Tax or what they like to call it as the “Amazon Tax”.
All I can say is “WOW”, the state government is trying to find more ways to boost its revenue so now they’ve attack the internet. ...

I am for and against the personal ownership of credit cards. I incurred my own amount of credit card debt when I was younger and just recently was I able to rid myself of these debts. I am all too familiar of the negative effects of how credit cards can hurt an individual or even an entire family. Bu...

In one of my previous posts, “Avoiding Financial Setbacks #3: Splurges”, I said even though I seriously lowered my video game purchases I will still be getting GTA IV and Ninja Gaiden 2 on their release dates. Though I absolutely love the GTA (Grand Theft Auto) series, I’ve decided...

Hello, My name is Anthoney Grigsby, owner and creator of HelpMyCashGrow.com. There are a lot of people in this world that are having problems with their finances. I know this, because I used to be one of them.
Though I’m still in the process of building my finances, I remember those days where my finances looked horrible. I used to live from paycheck to paycheck and those times were my dark days. No, I’m not a millionaire (far from it), I don’t have a fleet of cars and houses, and this isn’t a late night infomercial. What I have done is educated myself on the basics of personal finance, such as budgeting, saving, etc. and I would like to pass on my knowledge to you.
Visit my video blog at http://www.helpmycashgrow.com, and get a deep insight and a step-by-step process of learning how to organize and manage your money, and along the process you’ll learn how I am following the same steps that I teach.
