Erin said I won; you said you won. Doesn’t really matter, though you have to admit I landed a good right hook at the very end.

As always, you make good points, but I do have one small quibble. We got to talking about short-sellers and the uptick rule, which the SEC recently abolished on individual stocks. Then, repeating something you said on your must-see TV show, Mad Money, you said that

Some eye-opening data showing the multi-decade collapse in viewership for evening network TV news. About the only surprise, at least for those of us that haven't watch such programming in ages, is that it still exists at all.

Via TVNewser, I found this article by Ben Stein on how watching business news on TV has gotten like looking at a Victoria's Secret catalog.

Stein focuses mostly -- surprise -- on the new Fox Business Network. But he also brings up CNBC hosts Maria Bartiromo and Erin Burnett. He correctly points out that the "money honey" trend started with Ms. Bartiromo. I'll add that I've caught Bloomberg TV several mornings recently (carried on the E! channel), and Bloomberg's female anchors are pretty easy on the eyes as well.
