Short Term Market Pullback! Graphic_rating_buy SDS

The market was unable to move higher today. We are probably due for a short-term pullback over the next several days.  The S&P 500 closed at 784.04 down 10.31 (1.3%).  If the S&P 500 breaks below 760, we could see a move down to 740.  After this next pullback we should see a rally back to 8,000 on the Dow and 800-820 on the S&P 500.  The Russell 1000 & 2000 should perform similarly.

Options expiration is tomorrow so any move up or down will be affected by this event.  Next week will decide the extent of this short-term market pullback.

The S&P futures are currently overbought and the short term pattern is bearish if the S&P futures gap open above Fridays high 896. This pattern has predicted a market decline in every instance out of 26 occurrences.

If Open > 896 then SS @ open
Exit 1st profitable open or 2% stop loss

Given the recent run-up and the fact that I am targeting a bottom in the S&P no sooner than Nov 27, this is a good time to short the market.  SDS is a leveraged, inverse S&P fund.

These days it is hard for anyone to be credible when they say they know what is going to happen next. I am no different.
