Don't Burn That Coal Just Yet MEE

As I cleaned out my Weber to start my fire, I went into my shed to pick up some fuel for the fire - and lo and behold nothing was there. My coal was stolen. I figured, why steal coal now? I mean, coal shares are in the midst of a nasty correction. Why in the world would anyone want to try to catch that falling knife?  In such a situation most people would have just went out and bought more charcoal, but not me. Commodities obviously continue to be "liquidated" by HAL 9000 and friends, so I need to take some actions to shore up the hemorrhaging. I've cut back the fertilizer quite a bit, and it remains my favorite theme so I don't want to cut much more. Note - I'm not buying because these stocks are in free fall and if PE of 10 why not PE of 5. Who knows where the selling ends. First time I've been able to look at the market today - it is quite a sad state of affairs for us. Enough is enough - I'm going to finally apply cash to the positions that have been busting us the past 48 hours and in fact 6 weeks. Fundamentals mean nothing. The charts have broken down across the board, including many that Monday morning we outlined as over the 20 and 50 day moving averages - the "best of the best".
