It is a secret to many that MCZ is building a stong position in the video game market.  As the console makers change like revolving doors MadCatz will always be there.  Yes they had quality issues in the late 90's, but took care of this. With better quality products, Gameshark, JT and thier recent jump into the computer peripherals market, MCZ's market share will rise above its already dominant position.  At somepoint value will hold... they have the best profit margins in the business.

MadCatz will likely report a positive quarter. The video game console transition is just about over and  all systems have had thier mark-downs.  Microsoft has already reported record Xbox sales, and the Halo(#1 selling entertainment item ever) licience is only one of the many licences MadCatz own's.  MCZ may have been immune to the weak retail run during the holidays.  There is easy money to be made here within the next few months.

Its that time when Mad Catz is at their lows. MAY. Its going to jack up hard soon. It already went up 10% today. Mad Catz has been around forever, and they profit during new next gen releases. Especially after Sony Products are released. The XBOX release did only a little bit...Now we are in Wii and PS3 territory. I dont care what you say about Sony. They are going to be IT for the next 6 years. They have all kinds of mem cards and extra controllers at cheaper prices than sony. This is how they profit. They also have tons of other accessories. I bet you every gamer has heard about Mad Catz ...

MCZ is close to it's 52 week low, although it recently broke through it's previous bottom of .35, falling to .30 I think its performance has been hindered by the long transisiton of video game consoles to their next-gen. This coming christmas when the console market really picks up MCZ stands to win. MCZ has also been distributing software (games ofcourse), which I believe will have a positive impact.
