Juniper Networks Inc. (JNPR) is interested in acquiring Aruba Networks Inc. (ARUN) or Meru Networks, the Financial Times reported Thursday, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter and two analysts.

  The newspaper cited Eric Suppiger, an analyst at Signal Hill, as predicting that Juniper will acquire either Aruba or Meru - but not both - as it lacks a wireless portfolio to compete with Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO).

  Spokespersons for Aruba and Meru declined comment on the matter and Juniper didn't return phone calls, the FT said on its Web site. All three companie

Juniper continues to show promising earnings growth - just look at the last quarter.  I believe in the infrastructure play of the wireless world we are entering and see continued good growth potential.

In the broader scope, I think the market might just be turning and this is one of my early plays as the portfolio becomes a bit more willing to put money to work.

Juniper has tested down and congested its recent gains...  I feel that its in the bottom of its trading range near $20.50...   The company generates tons of cash and has many new products that should stabilize its market share and increase sequential growth.  This is a great growth stock during strong product cycles.
