Harvest a Screaming Buy HTE

+22.72% in 82 days (closed on 03/29/07) Please see my previous posts on this stock. HTE has a near 20% yield at these levels. And the fat dividend gets preferential 15% long term tax rate. Oil has fallen to $55 a barrel and there has been some bad news out of Ottowa, but even if HTE cuts the dividend you will still get a double digit yield on this stock. Demand for oil isnt going away. Bullish on HTE ... HTE

-25.27% in 98 days (closed on 01/06/07) Canadian Energy Trusts are all the rage among many independent advisors. They have high yields and I believe the dividends are subject to the preferred 15% divident tax treatment. According to my calculation, this trust is yielding 16.7%. Now if oil falls too far, then they might have to cut the dividend. But even if they cut it in half, the yield would hover around 8%. Sounds good to me. I doubt that this site's "gains" tracker actually incorporates this dividend. I hope so or this will mess up my accuracy percentage and return. Continue reading »
