There are a couple of emerging battery companies that have gotten peoples attention.  I like HEV for its R&D excellence (I'm a sucker for design what can I say).  Cramer also gave it a thumbs up which makes me a little nervous about how many ups and downs HEV will have before finally posting a profit.   ;-)

The one advantage I see to this company over other lithium ion (Li-ion) battery manufacturers is its ties to Delphi.  Once (IF) GM gets itself back into shape (its only got 15 months), HEV has a direct tie
