With recent election success of KMT party Taiwan should see a change in its political course with further aligning itself with mainland China. This along with the fact the Taiwan has lagged the China story bodes well for Taiwan market to outperform.

As of today, 11/2/2007, Taiwan is a beaten market because people worry about the politics and the instability of the goverment. These factors worry Taiwan people. Living in an island country, Taiwanese are senstitive to external threat and feel insecure. They are usually nervous. I think Taiwan will grow along the global boom and will benefit from China, as the politics stabilize, Taiwan market will gain confidence and go up. ETA first half of 2008
