The thriving market in used video games in giving heartache to Electronic Arts (ERTS) and the rest of the game publishers, and it isn’t going to be an easy problem to fix.

Shares of Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO) are up about 3% today after the company disclosed that it has entered into a confidentiality agreement with Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS), in a sign that a deal may get done after all. Electronic Arts (ERTS) disclosed in a filing with the SEC late yesterday that it has signed a confidentiality agreement with Take-Two (TTWO) in regard to talks between the two companies.
