DayStar Technologies develops photovoltaic (PV) products that convert sunlight directly into electricity (the PV effect). The company was founded in 1997, with the goal of bringing solar technology to the mass market by becoming a low-cost, high volume producer of solar cells. The good news is that the company is making substantial progress in its aim to commoditize this important energy alternative.

 Financials not so great on Daystar, they have a lack of financial supply. Check out  ASTI , their product was picked up by hydro, and the shares doubled in price. Daystar has a similar product (Flexible Solar Panels) , slightly different technology (uses CIGS) from what I read, but it's supposed to be better than ASTI because of the material used by asti is of a limited supply or high cost.  Either way,  Solar will continue to be a great alternative energy source in the years to come, seems like all the alt energy companies are good investments right now, its just finding the right one.  S...
