On July 27, 2007, China Expert Technology : CXTI.OB Chairman and Acting CFO Huang Tao promised investors in a conference call that: (1) there would be no financial discrepancies when the company reported Q2 results; and (2) that results should be announced by August 15, 2007. Shares of China Expert Technology : CXTI.OB are getting slammed today on news that CFO Simon Fu has resigned suddenly “for personal reasons and to pursue other interests.” As recently as a month ago, Fu was the public face of CXTI for U.S. investors . China Expert Technology (CXTI.OB) lands another big contract Graphic_rating_buy CXTI
China Expert Technology ( CXTI.OB ) ( articles ) was down a few percent today, but after the bell announced yet another huge contract . CXTI was awarded a $48M contract ($42.4 minus hardware purchases and PRC business tax) to construct e-government systems for Xi'an city government, located in the Shaanxi province of China. A 5% commission on the net figure will be paid in stock to the company's outside sales firm. While this will result in dilution of approximately 323,000 shares, I think its a small price to pay for such a large contract.
