The discount retailers continue to produce BIG results. With high fuel prices, many people even those who would never think to shop at a discount retailer have gone that way. Big Lots and the others discounters...think Wal-Mart have exploded recently. However, the stimulus checks have run their course and people will be stretched. Walmart and Target probably see future earnings reduced and this will impact BIG also. And the major catalyst is BIG is being shorted to the tune of 40%!!! Jump on the street is rarely wrong.
