This post is part of a series in which TheStockAdvisors.com asked financial experts to name their top stock pick if McCain or if Obama wins the election.
"If Barack Obama wins, look to AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV), a company involved in both unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and alternative energy solutions," says tech and science expert Gregg Early, editor of The Real Nanotech Investor.
"For Baby Boomers or aviation fans, the founders of the company were the people that brought us the Gossame

Based on their campaign promises and party platforms

AVAV has been a stock I have been watching for a very long time. The company makes drone aircraft operated by remote controls. Look for them to become apart of the border patrol's fleet of vehicles. The battery technology business is growing at a smaller pace but there is even more opportunity with EV and hybrid cars. Keep an eye on wind technology for commercial and industrial buildings as another source of revenue. Also, this company was solid when it was private and has the benefit of Cal Tech brains behind its patents.
