Re: MSFT is a BUY 05/07/08
It is definitely better for the stock for the deal not to go through. There are to many uncertainties with MSFT buying YHOO which was putting pressure on MSFT. No one knows for sure if MSFT would actually gain anything from the takeover. It also was requiring alot of MSFT's cash which is not good for the stock price.
