Obviously, sumer_kolcak was wrong, and my guess is that he/she wasn't even trying to be taken seriously. But this thread does raise some questions that are worth thinking about. Since he/she seems to have dropped off the grid, I propose that we give some thought to why we don't believe outlandish predictions and how to tell whether a prediction is really outlandish.
