If I were you the only thing I would "buy" are things like US Tbills, gold, or instruments that give you downside protection until you see the credit markets settle down. The damage that is being done to the economy every second there is doubt is massive. You will see retailers have horrible sales. How many friends do you have that have bought new cars in the last few weeks? Basically, every...

I am not sure the middle class is going to be shopping any where. I am a seller of the retailers. I don't think any of them will be higher than here by the end of the year.

Historically, whenever there has been a global collapse of financial confidence the rush has always been to gold. This time won't be different. Study the price of gold relative to inflation and then find any other commodity as cheap as gold. If you find one and it is one that isn't driven by the economy like copper please let me know. Gold at these historic prices has unbelievable value. ...
