Universal Detection Technology is diversifying its marketing strategy and will utilize specific marketing programs and initiatives to target the anti-bacterial market.

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA), a strain of staph bacterium that has become invulnerable to first-line antibiotics and is responsible for more than 19,000 deaths each year.
Researchers at Wayne State University School of Medicine treated Agar Plates with varying amounts of the Silver Anti-bacterial spray, along with untreated as controls for the experiment. After being incubated at 37 degrees Celsius for four days, the untreated plates had colony growth while the plates treated with the spray remained sterile for up to six weeks even with repeated exposure.
Universal Detection Technology also develops early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provides counter-terrorism consulting and training services. The company supplies counter-terrorism services and technologies to private and government organizations and owns the license to a patented technology developed at NASA’s JPL.
