Why nike? Beyond their spectacular line of running shoes there is one thing that strikes me more on my campus than the recent influx of MAC pcs: shorts. Nike has running shorts and every girl on my campus must own at least 3 pair. When I first saw these, my girlfriend came home with 3 pair. Since then I cant walk outside without seeing dozens of girls wearing these cross-training shorts in all different colors. Today I went to a popular shoe store in the area to check out the real deal and sure enough, these little shorts are completely sold out. Not just sold out in Tuscaloosa. Not just in Alabama. There is ZERO inventory nationwide! HUGE hit amongst college girls and unrealized in NKEs EPS. NKE comes out with earnings on the 20th and expect a new 52-week high!
