Nintendo is seeing incredible strength in the videogame market and has a tremendous upside. The Wii has been the #1 selling console for almost every month since its release, and the Nintendo DS continues to top charts consistently on a monthly basis even though it has been released for over a year now. For both system, it does not appear this trend will end anytime soon with the large number of quality of video games that will be released in the future. <o:p>

In the games channel, there are a huge number promising titles that will be released in 2007 for the Wii:
- Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brother, Super Metroid Prime, Pokemon Battle Revolution (from Nintendo)
- Resident Evil, Boogie, Guitar Hero III, Need for Speed, Madden, etc. (from 3 rd Parties)
- 2-3 Virtual Console games released every week (Total of 106 games so far)
By the end of 2007, the total number of games available for purchase on the Wii comes out to around 250 (excluding Gamecube games) <o:p>

In regards to the Nintendo DS there are over 350 games that have been released or announced for development. <o:p>

Because of the large catalog of games available, the unrelenting demand, and a high number of innovative and original games that will be released on the horizon soon, Nintendo will still be flying high for the next year.
