Jerry's New Job

What can I say more?  The street is loving the resignation of Terry Semel.

Unlike some analysts, I am also bullish on Jerry Yang being the CEO.  Everyone loves Jerry Yang, but can he do well?  I think he can - afterall, he's a brilliant visionary, and after all these years being Chief Yahoo and not having much real accountability, he finally has the chance to earn some realy credibility. 

The fact that Jerry's now in the driver's seat could also mean something - Facebook may finally be open to Yahoo's acquisition talk again as the "obstacle" is now gone ...
