Denison Mines Corp., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the development, exploration, and production of oil and gas, gold, copper, cobalt, zinc, lead, silver, uranium, vanadium, diamonds, phosphate, iodine, sulphate, and nitrate in North America, Zambia, and Mongolia. The company also engages in recycling uranium-bearing waste materials for the recovery of uranium; and producing vanadium as a co-product. It owns a 100% interest in the White Mesa mill located in Utah; a 22.5% interest in the McClean Lake mill in Saskatchewan; a 25.17% interest in the Midwest project situated in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, Canada; a 75% interest in the Moore Lake property located in the Athabasca Basin; a 60% interest in the Wheeler River property covering 12,225 hectares in Canada; and a 6.5% interest in the Wolly property comprising 23,799 hectares located in Canada. The company also has a 70% interest in the Gurvan Saihan joint venture in Mongolia; and a 100% interest in the Mutanga Project consisting of the Mutanga and Dibwe deposits located in Zambia. In addition, it owns various uranium deposits located in the Arizona Strip district in northeastern Arizona; and a mineral property in the Henry Mountains district. Further, the company provides mine decommissioning services, including asset sales, demolition, hazardous materials abatement, shaft capping, tailings relocation, and dam construction; and environmental monitoring services ranging from ground, air, and water monitoring to effluent treatment plant operation and maintenance.
