MPTO's wholly owned subsidiary is Weatherly Aircraft and their story is a historic one.
Tuesday the company announced that based on its internal cost analyses and market analysis, it will be able to deliver the lowest cost agricultural (ag) aircraft on the market today. Weatherly stated that it intends to sell its 620B radial ag aircraft for $325,000.
MPTO is rebuilding a line of airplanes originally created in 1961. The planes have been updated with new standards and the market for the planes include pesticide distribution, crop seeding, fire fighting and homeland security.
The current number of Weatherly aircrafts in service worldwide is estimated to be in excess of 200 planes.
MPTO has purchased all known components consisting or repair parts, fabricated airframe parts, equipment, jigs, and fixtures to repair, upgrade and build the planes.
