Target Index
The Russell 1000® Technology is a capitalization weighted index of companies that serve the electronics and computer industries or that manufacture products based on the latest applied science. The index currently has 105 components, derived from the Russell 1000, with an average market cap of over $19 billion dollars and a median market capitalization of $6.1 billion dollars as of April 30, 2008. One cannot directly invest in an Index.
