Citigroup CEO says company is profitable through first two months of 2009... (RTTNews) - Citigroup Inc. (C) disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission a letter from its Chief Executive Officer Vikram Pandit. In his letter to company employees, Vikram Pandit stated that he is disappointed with company's current stock price and the broad-based misperceptions about company and its financial position. Pandit stated that he don't believe it reflects the strengths of Citi. Pandit highlighted the point that company is profitable through the first two months of 2009 and having best quarter-to-date performance since the third quarter of 2007.
