The Dow closed up 151.57 points to 8,424.75 with the Russell 1000 closing at 461.33 up 4.01 points (1.15%) and Russell 2000 closing at 447.51 down 3.79 ponits (-.84%).
The market is traditiionally up the week before Thanksgiving. Also, the recent significant declines in the market indices has created a significant open put option interest. This week is option expiration and would expect to see an increase in the market indices this week with the break down to new lows occuring next week.
