SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) is an international mail company that specializes in providing hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America and The Caribbean (LAC). SkyPostal is the largest private mail network in Latin America and handles over 25 million pieces of mail per month.

National postal services from Europe to LAC are historically unreliable. These national services take at least 17 days for items to be delivered. Also, 30 percent of all mail into some countries in the region does not make it to its destination. The transit time and loss rate utilizing this method is a key reason why consumers are looking towards other international mail options.

There are other options to the national postal service including express services, remailers, and the USPS. Express services, such as DHL, FedEX, and UPS, provide reliable, traceable service but are very costly per item. Remailers are less expensive, but the mail is intermingled into the national postal service once it enters the region. USPS is reliable but its international services (IPA/ISLA) are costly, and like remailers, the mail is placed into the national postal service once it enters the LAC.

Rather than build its own system, SkyPostal signs the “best in class” messenger services in each country to hand deliver mail and parcels, which offers significant advantages. The company provides senders and recipients the ability to track their mail via its website, and provides signature proof of delivery service.

Why would someone use any other service when SkyPostal provides a more economic and reliable option throughout Latin America and the Caribbean?

Omega United, Inc. (OMGA.OB) Announces Name and Symbol Change to SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB)

Before the bell today, Omega United, Inc. dba SkyPostal announced that it will officially change its corporate name to SkyPostal Networks Inc effective today. The new trading symbol will be listed on the OTCBB Bulletin Board Exchange under the ticker SKPN.

Albert P. Hernandez, SkyPostal’s President and CEO, stated, “We are very pleased to complete the name change to SkyPostal Networks, a name that we believe will enable us to be more marketable on a global scale with a cohesive, instantly-recognizable identity. Additionally, the name change comes at an opportune time when we are making significant expansions to our product and service offerings.”

The name change better reflects the mission of the company to be a global leader in the non-time critical mail and parcel post delivery market. Additionally, the change is expected to support the anticipated promotion of a readily identifiable brand name for the company’s products.

SkyPostal, an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering the hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America (LAC), currently has service agreements with the French, German and Swiss postal services to deliver mail in the LAC region. The company is also providing reliable, time-defined, international “intelligent” private postal services at lower costs than the United States Postal Service and the major European postal agencies, with higher customer satisfaction.

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB) Adds New Members to Board of Directors

A wave of change is happening in Miami. With its business name officially changed to SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB), the company has now announced the election of four new members to its board of directors. Jose Misrahi, Florian M. Schuhbauer, and Mathijs van Houweninge will serve as Independent Directors alongside S. David Fineman, who was elected in June. Christian J. Weber will serve as the Director Europe Sales and Service, while Klaus Knappik has been appointed Advisor to the board.

Jose Misrahi is a CPA and a former auditor with Deloitte & Touché dealing in structured financings, financial negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, cash flow management, and SEC reporting. He served as VP Finance for the Cisneros Group, a $3 billion media and communications multi-national group in Venezuela, between 1992 and 2002. Misrahi currently serves as the CFO of Facey Commodity Company Limited of Jamaica, a multi-national company that operates in 29 countries. He will serve as a member of the SkyPostal Compensation Committee and as a Chairman of the SkyPostal Audit Committee.

Florian M. Schuhbauer holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt degree (German MBA equivalent) in Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and a German professional degree of Bankkaufmann, which designates him as a banker certified by the Hannover Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He proceeded to work in risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and equity research. Schuhbauer joined the Corporate Development team at Deutsche Post AG in 2002 and led the development of the company’s international mail strategy. He was then appointed CFO and Executive VP of DHL Global Mail, where he assumed global responsibility for strategy development and execution. In 2006, he joined General Capital Group where he now serves as partner. Schuhbauer will be the Chairman of the Compensation Committee and member on the SkyPostal Audit Committee.

Mathijs van Houweninge founded ICT, a software company specializing in software development and consulting for the financial industry, in 1990 while attending a university in Utrecht, The Netherlands. He sold the company in 2000 to Ordina, but continued to run the company until 2003. Van Houweninge then became active in evaluating business proposals of start-ups and early-growth companies, as well as serving as a consultant to the development of selected companies. He is currently a Managing partner of Falcon Financial, which recently signed a $10 million private placement with SkyPostal. Van Houweninge will continue to serve as a board member of Cyber City, USA, and a member of the Advisory Board Private Equity for Triodos, The Netherlands while he serves on the SkyPostal Compensation Committee.

Between 1981 and 2002, Weber served as Managing Director of SkyNet Worldwide Express and SkyMail UK, Ltd. He was able to expand the company into a £18 million mail and courier distribution company that was sold to Lan Chile in 2002. Since that time, Weber has been responsible for SkyPostal’s Sales and Service in Europe.

Klaus Knappik, a consultant in the postal industry, will serve as Advisor to SkyPostal’s Board of Directors. He has served as Chairman on the Board of Deutsche Post Global Mail in Bonn, Germany and as a board member of Swiss Post in Bern, Switzerland. Knappik successfully developed Deutsche Postal Global Mail to become the largest international mail network and second largest US mail network.

SkyPostal’s President and CEO, Albert Hernandez, stated, “We are proud to welcome our new independent directors to the SkyPostal board. Their experience and professional expertise are well suited to benefit SkyPostal in its growth strategy thru postal industry consolidation.” Hernandez continued, “We have sought to assemble a working board of experienced postal and financial executives, who can direct the company in its mission to become a major player in the emerging private postal industry.”

With SkyPostal’s expansion to now serve Europe alongside its established network in the LAC, it only makes sense that the company takes on advisors with experience in the region. Based upon the experience of each new board member, it appears that SkyPostal will have a solid team to consult with to ensure successful expansion into Europe.

SkyPostal Inc. (SKPN.OB) Picking Up What Others Leave Behind

SkyPostal Networks Incorporated, formerly known as Omega United Incorporated, is a large private mail network in some emerging areas of the world. SykPostal started off delivering exclusively to the Latin America – Caribbean region, but has expanded further into North America and Europe as well. Although it is still growing and developing as a company, it has some key distinctions and advantages over its established competitors such as UPS, Federal Express and DHL.

SkyPostal has found a niche in the market for delivery in often difficult locations that the larger companies consider undesirable areas. They feature the ability to deliver in areas that are hard to access, and in some cases not even addressable or on the map. In these situations, SkyPostal is the only reliable delivery option, and especially for the delivery of periodicals and advertisements, SkyPostal can truly take packages where no other company has gone before.

Prior to expanding service into Europe through a strategic marketing agreement with Deutsche Post’s DHL Global Mail, SkyPostal was delivering over 25 million pieces of mail per month. Every piece of mail is ensured to be delivered accurately thanks to the company’s unique GPS tracking system, PosTrac. The service offers real time GPS tracking of packages, and recently the service has been upgraded to show digital signatures of packages. As SkyPostal Networks continues to grow and expand service areas, they have the foundation to become one of the major global carriers.

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB) Reports Financial Results for the Second Quarter

Just before the closing bell, SkyPostal Networks, Inc. announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2008. Sales for the 6 months ended June 30, 2008 totaled $4,532,113, which is a 16.5% increase over the same 6-month period ended the previous year. The company also reported that total tonnage handled increased 20% for the 6 months ended June 30, 2008 compared to the same period ended June 30, 2007.

Gross margins were 17.2% in the first half of this year, compared to 23.9% in 2007. “As with all international mail operators, the high fuel surcharges imposed by the airlines during the second quarter could not be immediately passed along to our contracted mail clients. With the increase in fuel surcharges upwards of 30%, we are exploring ways to recover some of these incredibly high surcharges which have been unprecedented in our industry,” commented Albert P. Hernandez, SkyPostal’s President and CEO.

Through the opening of a sort facility at Newark Airport and the recently signed agreement with DHL Global Mail, SkyPostal is expanding their mail delivery service to Europe. Another strategic development of the company is its introduction of a new service targeted at U.S. Internet marketers. The service will allow them to market their products to upscale LAC consumers by removing the costly risks of shipping by parcel post through the public UPU Public Postal Network.

Mr. Hernandez further added, “We anticipate being able to substantially grow SkyPostal in the second half through several targeted acquisitions, introduction of service to Europe, introduction of new mailing solutions to LAC for internet marketers and the roll out of our GPS-PDA units, which will provide SkyPostal with a decidedly unique advantage over the state-owned public postal networks by offering automatic confirmation of delivery on mail at a fraction of the cost charged by Express operators.”

SkyPostal Inc. (SKPN.OB) is Improving International Mail Distribution Methods for Many Industries

SkyPostal Incorporated provides time defined, secure, reliable shipping solutions to businesses and individuals at a surprisingly low cost. The company, which started off specializing in only Latin America and the Caribbean, has expanded its services into the US and Europe. As an international mail distributor, they aim to provide customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service of the highest standards through the use of innovative logistics solutions and state of the art information technology.

An area where the company excels above others is the hand delivery of mail and periodicals in hard to reach, and sometimes un-addressable locations. These services can benefit a variety of businesses because of their speed and security. For small businesses and financial institutions that need time sensitive deliveries of items such as invoices, credit cards or bank statements, they can provide secured delivery with statements of delivery and even offer signature confirmation.

The real benefit of SkyPostal’s unique services can be noticed more dramatically for industries such as direct marketers or publishers. These industries rely upon circulation of their products, and SkyPostal can provide circulation in many places that were previously never considered. The company now offers marketing solutions to target highly rated consumers in the region via their tag-along service. These pieces will reach locations covered in SkyPostal’s regular delivery areas, even when the address is unknown or previously unavailable by other conventional delivery services. Services from SkyPostal can solve the needs of any business, no matter what the size or industry.

SkyPostal Inc. (SKPN.OB) Focuses on Reliable Service into Latin America

Founded in 2002, SkyPostal Inc. (SKPN.OB) has quickly become known as a leading private mail delivery service. The company is focused on providing a consistent, secure, time-defined primary delivery service into Latin America, and now into Europe as well.

SkyPostal is led by pioneers in the courier industry. Many of the company’s management team helped create SkyNet-Choice in 1972, which was the first mail delivery service in Latin America. With decades of experience in the industry, SkyPostal’s management understands their client’s needs and the issues the company must overcome to provide a high level of service into the region.

While national postal services take up to 17 days to deliver parcels, SkyPostal’s network is able to hand deliver items within an average 7.5 day period. The company is structured around an established private messenger network system. The company has signed agreements with the best service providers in the region to hand deliver parcels within a 7-to-10-day period into major cities. Clients are also able to monitor their mailings via the company’s proprietary PosTrac system. Within an additional 48-hour period, SkyPostal is able to provide clients with Proof of Delivery (POD).

A key in SkyPostal’s success is its focus on timely delivery. The company constantly monitors its performance by seeding in over 2,000 pieces of mail per week. Upon delivery, the time and date of delivery of the seeded mailings are electronically recorded into reports for analysis.

By listening to its clients, maintaining reliable deliveries, and providing cost effective services, SkyPostal anticipates continuing its growth and garnering the attention of clients mailing into Latin America.

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB) Recently Opened a New Facility to Service Europe

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. recently announced that their newest facility at Newark Airport, handling their mail and parcel post traffic to and from the UK and Europe, is in full operation. The company also completed a private placement financing totaling $10 million since becoming a publicly traded company. Falcon Capital, a boutique investment banking firm based in London, acted as a placement agent for the financing.

SkyPostal is an international wholesale mail distribution company specializing in hand delivery of commercial mail and periodicals to the Latin America-Caribbean region (LAC). The new facility will service existing customers throughout the Northeast and serve new business the company expects to gain from their recent key strategic marketing agreement with Deutsche Post’s U.S. Division – DHL Global Mail. By capitalizing on the ability to utilize Deutsche Post’s global network, the SkyPostal expansion into Newark will facilitate the introduction of service to Europe.

“The operations at Newark will help us gain new business by having a local presence in the Northeast region. By changing and expanding our shipment processing locations, we reduce line haul costs and improve transit times. Mail shipments normally processed through our Miami hub can now be routed more efficiently to Europe and certain LAC destinations through the Newark location,” stated Albert P. Hernandez, President and CEO of SkyPostal.

“This development allows SkyPostal to increase the rate of international expansion while improving service quality. We anticipate even greater growth potential in the near future with the addition of hand delivery service to Europe,” he concluded.

In order to complete the $10 million private financing placement, the company converted approximately $3.2 million of debt into equity in the form of common shares. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to improve the hand-delivery network in LAC with the deployment of their GPS delivery confirmation system, expand services to customers, and allow for potential acquisitions. Enhancing their market presence is a key issue for the company.

“We believe this financing will enable SkyPostal to substantially accelerate progress toward our key strategic initiatives and solidify our market presence,” commented Mr. Hernandez. He continued, “SkyPostal will be able to consolidate its network in LAC and expand its service offering to Europe. With this additional capital, we will be able to fast track the growth of the company both organically and through strategic acquisitions.”

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB) - Bringing Top-Notch Service to the Mail Industry

SkyPostal, Inc. (OTCBB: SKPN) is an international mail distribution company specializing in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. The company is persistent on providing their customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service of the highest standards into Latin America through the use of innovative logistics solutions and highly advanced information technology.

By choosing SkyPostal as a mail network, all mail is hand delivered by exclusive representatives. Clients can track their mailings through the company’s website at any time during the day. SkyPostal can even provide signature proof of delivery and just as importantly return of undeliverable items; either physically or electronically. SkyPostal is revolutionizing the way mail is delivered and processed by adding a courier/express sense of urgency mentality to provide assured delivery service for less than the other alternatives. SkyPostal has established itself as the largest private mail network in Latin America handling over 25 million pieces of mail per month.

When considering the alternatives to SkyPostal it is evident that there are fewer benefits for the client. The USPS/Postal Service is one of the most reliable postal service in the world, but their international services (IPA/ISLA) are extremely expensive. As mail leaves the United States it is given to the postal administrations of the destination countries, which results in added time for the mail to arrive on a clients door. Alternatives to the USPS are using DHL, FedEx, UPS, or TNT, but although their services are reliable and traceable, they are very expensive ranging from $30-$40 per item in Latin America and the Caribbean.

They look to provide their customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service into Latin America by implementing the use of innovative logistics solutions and advanced information technology.

SkyPostal offers multiple services to different avenues of business, including financial institutions, small businesses, direct marketers, publishers, catalog companies, and letter shop and fulfillment companies. As the largest private mail network in Latin America, SkyPostal is committed to serving as an alternative source for reliable and rapid timed-delivery of postal materials. The company’s services are supported by a web-based proprietary tracking system that gives their clients the ability to track both their mailings and the company’s performance.

SkyPostal, Inc. (SKPN.OB) – Operating the Biggest Private Mail Network in Latin America

SkyPostal Networks, Inc., (SKPN.OB), the growing Miami-based mail delivery company serving 20 major countries in Latin America, has done for mail delivery in Latin America what FEDEX and UPS have done for parcel delivery in the U.S.

Through the application of state-of-the-art technologies and logistics, combined with the skillful use of outsourced transportation and delivery services, SkyPostal has bested government delivery services, providing superior reliability, speed, and cost effectiveness, and has now become the largest private mail network in Latin America, delivering some 38 million pieces of mail each month.

Through the use of proprietary software, GPS handsets, a huge private messenger network, and the avoidance of costly tolls and tariffs required of other companies, SkyPostal consistently exceeds normal delivery standards in Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. SkyPostal delivery from Europe is a good example. Instead of taking 17 days via the national postal services for mail arriving from Europe, SkyPostal averages less than 8 days. And while a European sender pays over 40¢ per piece for worldwide delivery, SkyPostal’s average is closer to 10¢. In addition, while government undeliverable rates are as high as 30% in some countries, SkyPostal successfully delivers nearly 100% of the time, and, when unable to do so, returns the mail to the sender free of charge.

Although SkyPostal, like other companies, has had to face the challenges of unprecedented fuel cost increases, together with a slowing American economy, it has been so aggressive in improving efficiencies that it continues to expand operations and market share, including the anticipated introduction of service to Europe.

SkyPostal was founded in 2002 with the aim of creating a new standard for “time-defined” mail delivery in the Americas, but the SkyPostal management team, headed by president and CEO Albert P. Hernandez has experience going back to 1972, with the founding of SkyNet-Choice, the first courier and mail delivery service in Latin America. SkyPostal is headquartered in Miami, FL, and outsources its mail sorting facility in London, which processes mail originating in Europe.

SkyPostal, Inc. (SKPN.OB) - Nobody Knows Latin America Like These Guys

SkyPostal Networks, Inc., (SKPN.OB), the biggest private mail network in Latin America, got to be that way by faithfully obeying the first rule of business (and the first rule of their mission statement): Listen to your customers, know your market.

SkyPostal’s primary market is Latin America, and they know it. Combine that with an in-depth knowledge of mail delivery, based upon over 100 years of combined management-team experience, and it helps explain why SkyPostal (www.SkyPostal.com) consistently beats its competitors and even government delivery services in cost and efficiency, offering a delivery success rate approaching 100%.

At the top of that management team is President and CEO Albert P. Hernandez. Born in Havana, with over 40 years of mail and delivery service experience, Hernandez is considered a pioneer in the development of mail delivery service in Latin America. Hernandez immigrated to the U.S., where he received a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Marketing. He opened his first operation in Venezuela in 1972. In 1978 he started and ran Choice Delivery Systems, a U.S.-based messenger service operating in 40 states. In 1985 he became president of Sky Courier International, taking over as Chief Operating Officer of Sky Courier Network in 1986. Sky Courier was sold to Airborne Express in 1988.

In that same year, Hernandez started SkyNet Worldwide Express, later sold to Lan Chile Airlines. In 2002, he founded SkyPostal, in partnership with Lan Chile Airlines, and later purchased their part of the company. SkyPostal, based in Miami, now serves 20 major countries in Latin America, delivering 38 million pieces of mail each month. In spite of the inevitable challenges brought on by growth, his focus remains to offer the best time-defined mail delivery available.

Helping in that effort is A.J. Hernandez, Chief Operating Officer, and the CEO’s son. Between 1993 and 2001, A.J. Hernandez developed SkyBox Services in Latin America, an address service allowing Latin American residents to receive mail and purchases via a warehouse facility in Miami. Later he co-founded SkyPostal with his father and Lan Chile Airlines, and has remained with SkyPostal, where he is responsible for all international operations, negotiating all service provider agreements in the LAC region. A.J. Hernandez has a BBA in Marketing and an MBA in International Business.

Another mail distribution heavyweight is Michael J. Knorr, Executive Vice President. Knorr was the Executive Vice President of Swiss Post International (USA), Inc., where he directed all North American business operations for the company. Earlier he held senior level positions for Express Messenger Systems out of Phoenix, a 2000-employee express transportation company, and at mail giant TNT Express Worldwide.

Extensive technology support is provided by Bert Herrera, Vice President of Technology. SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB) to Create Growth through Acquisition

A common trend these days within the international mail and parcel industry is that of mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships between long-standing companies. One of these companies is SkyPostal (OTCBB: SKPN), based out of Miami, Florida.

Earlier this year, when the company began trading on the public markets, Albert P. Hernandez, President and CEO of SkyPostal, stated, “Going public through this merger is the next step in our evolution, as SkyPostal strives to become the dominant mail distribution company in Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico (’LAC’). SkyPostal has been active since last year already acquiring Spring Global Mail Latin America, the regional unit of the TNT, Royal Mail, and Singapore Post-owned in a joint venture, in August of 2007.

“We are now in a position to implement an aggressive growth strategy that features internal growth as well as growth through the acquisition of key postal delivery companies within the region,” said Mr. Hernandez. He continued, “The highly fragmented postal delivery industry in the LAC region is ripe for consolidation and offers economies of scale related to cost reduction and the elimination of redundant services. The market is ideal for the application of current technologies, standardization of operating systems and the region-wide development of the SkyPostal brand.”

SkyPostal has become one of the largest facilitators of mail delivery from Europe and the United States into the LAC region for major European postal administrations and leading mail consolidators, delivering more than 150 tons of mail per month. The company has exclusive agreements in place with over 20 major private postal services in 20 different countries throughout the LAC region for the delivery of commercial mail, periodicals and parcel post.

“SkyPostal is in a unique position through our existing relationships to acquire and roll up the quality private postal carriers in the region and apply our proprietary GPS-based delivery technology… which will provide auto proof of delivery for regular post to a region where it is estimated that up to 30% of all mail never gets delivered,” concluded Mr. Hernandez.

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB) Backed by Four Highly Experienced Directors

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (SKPN.OB), an international mail distribution company focused on the Latin America-Caribbean region, is led by an experienced team of directors. Four new directors were elected earlier this summer and will each serve a three-year term on the board.

One of SkyPostal’s newest members, Florian Schuhbauer has been a partner at the General Capital Group, GmbH, in Munich since 2006. He was appointed as CFO and Executive VP at DHL Global Mail where he took global responsibility for strategy development and execution.

SkyPostal, Inc. (SKPN.OB) Takes Mail Delivery to another Level

SkyPostal Networks, Inc., (SKPN.OB), the Miami-based international mail distribution company specializing in the hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America, has a stated mission: “To provide our customers with a consistent, secure, and reliable mail delivery service of the highest standards”.

Since their founding in 2002, they have been able to do exactly that, beating out government delivery services through the use of innovative logistics solutions and state-of-the-art information technology.

Now the largest private mail network in Latin America, serving 20 major countries, SkyPostal handles mail from European postal administrations, major publishers, international mailers, and financial institutions that require time-defined and reliable delivery of their mail or magazines. SkyPostal supports their service with a proprietary, web-based tracking system that allows clients to track mailings, while reducing costs through the well-managed outsourcing of transportation and delivery services. As a result, the company is able to handle millions of pieces of mail each month with a successful delivery rate approaching 100%, far exceeding local government performance. SkyPostal also provides signature proof-of-delivery, and the return of undeliverable items.

The strength of SkyPostal is that it effectively addresses the major weak point in the international mail delivery system; the postal administration of destination countries in Latin America. Traditionally, a sender’s primary option for international mailing was the U.S. Postal Service. But U.S.P.S. service is expensive and, once the mail leaves the U.S., it is given to the destination country’s service, which is frequently less than reliable. There are re-mailing services, which are cheaper than the Post Office, but they also rely on country-of-destination services. And express services, like DHL, FedEx, and UPS, can cost $30-$40 per item. SkyPostal offers the sender exceptional reliability for far less money.

SkyPostal has taken the mail business to another level, adding a courier/express sense of urgency, resulting in assured delivery service for less than any other alternative.
