Great buy, I have made lots of money on this already in the short term and as far as i can see this is a great long buy too!

Update 07/22:

HTOG is going up. I think this is happening because people are anticipating the new news we should be hearing in Aug about a pipeline connecting the 12 wells we heard about in the last month or so. I am guessing that we will hit .01 before the week is over at the latest. We will see. Another reason it is going up is because the company itself has been making the right moves in terms of its direction for growth and investors are hearing about it. It is not even noon yet and they have traded over 20M shares. They are moving forward with new wells and a pipeline that has been said to allow the possibility of doubling profits. They are still in dept from various projects that did not pay out as they would have liked but as an exploration company you will have that from time to time. The dept they have is not large at all in terms of the oil industry so don’t let that pull you away. I noticed that UPDV which holds HTOG as a subsidiary has in the past, very frequently matched the trends of HTOG in terms of price fluctuation. Right now UPDV has made a few sparks and you can see this in the past few days on their chart, HTOG once again is matching these rising price fluctuations. Ultimately I feel that UPDV and HTOG are both under valued, with or without the day traders and the pump and dumpers, HTOG and UPDV should rise in the long run. They are also great for making some fast cash on the short as long as these big price fluctuations keep happening but I would never get out all the way, my advice would be to keep some shares in this one for the long even if you are day trading it. Good luck to all who are waiting to get their money back from the last big dip and for those who are not yet in the game, I would buy in soon before it hits .01, the real money will be made when it goes up pennies at a time not fractions of a cent like we are dealing with now.

Update 07/23:

Looks like the trend is on the upward swing again, hope this continues! Like I said, I would get in soon before it hits, .01, we are in the .008 to .0095 range right now and HTOG is up at least 20% from when I bought in not too long ago. Last time this happened we scratched .02 within a couple days from .005 and allot of people made out on that, I wouldn’t want to see any of you miss out this time. Again it is a risky play because it moves so rapidly but then again there is no payout without the risk and if you get in under .01 you are not risking much, even put just $500 in and double it to $1K in a few days then take half out so you make your original investment back then play the rest for long term. I figure for the low cost why not risk it. Well any way that’s me just blabbing on, do the research your self if you don’t believe me and you will see, your odds on this one are pretty high. Good luck!

Update 07/23:

If you have been inthe HTOG game you will notice a very nice increase over the past few days. I am up 70% and holding strong. It will hit .02 or .03 very soon. Remember the PR for Aug has not even come out yet, it will explode when that does, if you sold I would get back in, especially if there are a few dips until then. Good Luck.

Update 07/24:

I found this info and thought that you all should read it if you are interested in HTOG:

NEMAHA COUNTY, Kan., Jul 24, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Heartland Oil and Gas Corp. Recently informed by its drilling partner that the first well drilled on Heartland's farmout acreage in Northern Kansas yielded a well producing 65 barrels per day of crude oil. As a result of this success, Heartland has undertaken planning to expand this farmout program and to begin drilling additional wells on the 500,000 acres it has under lease in this area.

"This is obviously a very exciting prospect," remarked Heartland spokesman Jack Baker. "The discovery of a 65 barrel per day well in the heart of our vast acreage in Northern Kansas establishes great value in that acreage that we intend to aggressively exploit and since many of our leases up there have terms of 5 or 6 years or more, we will have drilling opportunities for many years into the future. Coupled with the successes of our coalbed methane fields in the southern portion of the state, our accomplishments in Kansas seem boundless."

I feel that this is the new we needed to hear. I feel now more than ever that this company will pull its weight for the long hull. This company will mantain and increase its value over time by executing successful projects like this. Like I said before I would buy in soon before it goes too high. Good luck everyone!
