If you think I am the only one raving about this stock, then you are quite probably wrong. I would like to share an article with you from Rediff.com, where we have a very interesting take and insight into the possible sales of the Nano. The article states that the company, Tata Motors, is getting a large number of queries from second car buyers, whereas the car, Nano, is actually aimed at first car buyers. This is why it was kept pretty cheap in the first place and is a bare bones, stripped down version.
According to the article, there are about nine hundred buyers every month and some days, there are as many as one hundred and fifty buyers, which only goes on to show the huge interest in this new car. I am sure the Nano is going to be a blockbuster and interestingly, there were a number of environmentalists who had castigated the car and had expressed fears about pollution. But the best thing is that the car conforms to Euro II norms and the Chairman of the company, Ratan Tata, has said that he will ensure that the car would soon conform to Euro III norms as well, making it ready for export to EU and US markets.
