Nike (NKE) is a great stock. If you look at the long history of Nike, all you can see is nice steady growth, which will continue to grow as Nike continues its domination of the apparel/footwear. The majority of analysts that I have followed all have Nike on BUY, long term HOLD, and Outperform.
3/17/2007 UBS Rating - Raised from $120 - $128
01/30/07 Credit Suisse - Outperform target raised from $110 - $125

Argus 12 Month Rating - Hold
S&P Opinion - 4 Stars (out of 5)
Reuters Research Average Rating - Outperform
Nike is set to split 2:1 on April 3rd, if I remember correctly. If you view Nike's previous stock splits, you can see once again, steady growth right after the split. Nike is a solid stock and is great for long term gains.
***New Update***
Theres no stopping Nike! Nike beat Wallstreet expectations once again >>
Net Income Growth - +8 percent to $350.8 million
Earnings Per Share - +10 percent to $1.37
>> Soft sales and lower gross margins this quarter sent Nike down over 3% to around $105 early in the day. This however, did not stop Nike. Analysts began raising their outperform and target prices after the company beat the wall street expectations. Nike climbed out of its 4 dollar drop and ended the day up $.45.
