The Patient Monitoring Devices segment offers approximately 20 different patient monitoring devices for use in hospital intensive care units, operating rooms, and emergency rooms. Its patient monitoring devices are used to track the physiological parameters of patients, such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature. This segment offers various products, including single- and multiple-parameter monitors; mobile and portable multifunction monitors; central stations that collect and display multiple patient data on a single screen; veterinary monitoring devices; anesthesia machines; and an electro-cardiogram monitoring device. The Diagnostic Laboratory Instruments segment provides data and analysis on blood, urine, and other bodily fluid samples for clinical diagnosis and treatment. This segment offers a range of semi-automated and fully-automated diagnostic laboratory instruments for laboratories, clinics, and hospitals. Its products include hematology analyzers and biochemistry analyzers; reagents; and a microplate reader and microplate washer. The Ultrasound Imaging Systems segment sells portable and mobile grayscale ultrasound imaging systems that use computer-managed sound waves to produce real time images of anatomical movement and blood flow; and a range of transducers. Mindray Medical sells its products primarily to distributors, hospitals, clinics, government agencies, original design manufacturers, and original equipment manufacturers. It operates primarily in the People’s Republic of China, Europe, North America, and Asia. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, the People’s Republic of China.
