Are you implying that Citigroup is a good model to follow? I agree that Lehman probably can't stand alone, but I don't think thye need to be joined to a commercial bank. The big money center banks like C and JPM have yet to prove that people want to buy all their financial services products in a one stop place.

Ha. 1.3T in off-balance sheet assets? Hell no. the ibanks are leveraged up on nothing. money center banks leveraged up on a little more. give me a Trust Company and a safe.
