MedeFile International (MDFI.OB) and Dr. Lorne Stitsky will host a two-day celebration to highlight the grand opening of Personal Choice Family Practice (PCFP), a new concierge family medical practice in Jupiter, Florida. Dr. Stitsky, known locally as the “House Call Doc”, will head the new practice.

Personal Choice Family Practice will be limited to only 400 patients, who will pay an annual membership fee to receive guaranteed personalized medical care. With a limited number of patients, Dr. Stitsky will have the ability to focus on meeting the health and wellness requirements of each patient. Dr. Stitsky founded the boutique medical office to ‘practice medicine the old fashioned way – but with a high tech twist.’ The Personal Choice patients will receive house calls, same day appointments, and extended office visits. Patients will also be able to utilize the MedeFile technology and have instant, easy access to their medical records.

The public is welcome to tour the new facility and meet Dr. Stitsky and his staff. MedeFile International representatives will also be on site to demonstrate the MedeFile System that the patients will be utilizing. The MedeFile System is an online storage system that is designed to gather all of a member’s medical records from doctors and hospitals into one readable file. A member’s medical file can be indexed by date, by physician, or by service, and can be accessed 24 hours a day from any computer or internet-enabled mobile device. For security reasons, the members provide MedeFile with a list of physicians and hospitals with authorization to access the records.

The official grand opening celebration of Personal Choice Family Practice will be held at The Bermudiana on May 2, from 8 A.M. to 9 P.M., and May 3, from 8:30 A.M. to noon in Jupiter, Florida.

MedeFile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) - Accurate Record Keeping Will Help Save Lives

When the casual investor takes a first glance at MedeFile Inc. (trading under the symbol MDFI), the company’s “top three” services just sort of leap off the page. MedeFile International Inc. is a company specializing in electronic medical records and management solutions, but instead of solutions geared for the healthcare provider, such as insurance or billing software, these management solutions are designed for the consumer/patient.

From their “MedeVault,” a secure online storage location for medical records, to their “MedeDrive,” a patent pending USB device for carrying a person’s entire medical history, and finally “MedeMobile,” which allows secure access to these records from any cell-based phone or PDA in any area of the world, these three technologies make up the core functionality of MedeFile’s operations.

While this trio is nothing short of groundbreaking, and well overdue in this technological age, it’s their ancillary services that may prove to be the consumer’s most cherished possessions. Take, for example, their reminder service, “MedeMinder.” This system will track doctor’s appointments, prescription refill dates, medication schedules, testing facility appointments, and send automatic e-mail reminders as these dates approach. They will also have a representative call the member via phone to remind them to take a medication, or set up for an upcoming test. For the aged, or those with multiple medical issues, this is a lifesaver.

The American Medical Association has stated that one of the biggest problems the elderly face concerning their personal healthcare is their attention to their medicine schedule. Many times they find the elderly forget to take their medicines, or worse - thinking they forgot to take them - take a double dose. In fact, several hundred deaths per year are attributed to nothing more sinister than seniors taking too many double doses of their very own medicines.

MedeFile has created an end-to-end solution for medical record keeping that is the perfect “medicine” for an aging population. Investors with an eye for future growth need to keep their eye on this company as the aging baby boomer population clamors to take more control of their own healthcare. This is a company that has the “right stuff” for the right time.

Personal Choice Family Practice Combines Personalized Care with MedeFile International (MDFI.OB) Technology

In recent news, MedeFile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) has teamed up with Personal Choice Family Practice to provide patients with convenient management of their individual and family medical records. Personal Choice Family Practice was founded by Dr. Lorne S. Stitsky in Jupiter, Florida. Dr. Stitsky, who is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathy, is known locally as the “House Call Doc.” The new concierge medical practice’s main goal is “”putting the care back into health care — one house call at a time.”

To meet the practice’s objective, it will be limited to only 400 patients who will pay an annual membership for guaranteed personalized medical care. The limited number of patients will allow Dr. Stitsky to provide same-day extended office or home appointments that will focus on the specific health and wellness needs of each patient. At his previous practice in West Palm Beach, Florida, he provided care to over 30,000 patients. At that practice Dr. Stitsky would see at least 30 patients per day.

According to Dr. Stitsky, “In that fast-paced, time-constrained environment, ensuring the delivery of superior medical care with any level of consistency unfortunately proved challenging, if not altogether impossible. Moreover, the highly inefficient use of time and resources spent tracking down old medical records, insurance information, test results and critical clinical data from other care specialists who were also treating my patients proved both frustrating and costly.” Dr. Stitsky continued by saying, “I knew that there had to be a better way to address the gross administrative inefficiencies that currently plague the traditional healthcare system. The answer is MedeFile.”

MedeFile specializes in portable electronic medical records management system. The proprietary, patent-pending system gathers and digitizes records to enable users to maintain a comprehensive compilation of records to provide to physicians, dental professionals, or other specialists. MedeVault™ is MedeFile’s premier solution that is designed to gather all of its members’ actual medical records and create one comprehensive record. The solution allows its members to have access to the records 24 hours a day from any desktop, laptop, or hand-held web-enabled device. To maintain security, members provide MedeFile with a list of physicians and hospitals located anywhere in the word who have their authorization to access records.

Each MedeFile member is also given a MedeDrive, which is a specially designed Flash Drive that holds a member’s Emergency Medical Information along with the comprehensive medical records. The flash drive is inserted into any personal computer USB slot to view the records. No additional programs are needed as the MedeDrive has its own viewer. The flash drive can also be formatted to store Living Wills, DNR Order, Durable Powers of Attorney, Advanced Directives, and Healthcare Proxies.

Dr. Stitsky stated, “The peace of mind that MedeFile makes possible for my patients — and the convenience, ease of use and invaluable insight it provides me, can not be underestimated. It is proving to be wildly popular with my staff and patients, alike. Consequently, I have very little doubt that MedeFile’s revolutionary solution for archiving, managing, updating and providing access to my patients’ comprehensive medical records anywhere, anytime, will have the single largest impact on the success of my new practice.”

All patients at Personal Choice Family Practice are provided with a subscription to MedeFile Basic. Currently, more than 60 percent of the patients have elected to upgrade to the MedeFile Premium plan. The upgraded plan allows members access to MedeFile’s full product line and services, including Emergency Call Service, Interactive Health Calendar, Audit Trail, and Healthy Lifestyle Tools.

Milton Hauser, Chairman and CEO of MedeFile, stated, “Concierge Medicine represents an exciting new market opportunity for MedeFile, particularly given that it is entirely patient-centric.” Hauser added, “People who make their family’s health and wellness a priority in their lives are now demanding new medical care delivery models such as that offered by Personal Choice Family Practice. MedeFile is thrilled to be playing such an active role in helping Personal Choice take the lead in providing a compelling alternative to traditional medical care — one that focuses squarely on the patient.”

MedeFile International Inc. (MDFI.OB) On the Scene to Save Lives and Revamp Emergency Situations

MedeFile International Inc. (OTCBB: MDFI) is revolutionizing the properly earned negative stigma of emergency room waiting times. The company has designed a solution focused on the preparation and readiness of important medical information dire to timely and proper care.

MedeFile gathers and stores copies of a member’s medical records and consolidates them into an easily accessible digital format, available around the clock, 365 days a year from anywhere in the world. The information is transferred through a highly secured environment, maintaining the patients right to confidentiality.

Guy Lindauer, firefighter and paramedic, has dealt with fire and emergency medical services for nearly 20 years; having accurate information at his fingertips when needed is imperative to any emergency scene.

“Many times we arrive and patients are in bad or critical condition, they may be unconscious and if there aren’t any bystanders to give us any information it can really provide for a bad scene. With MedeFile, all we need is a computer and we can access this information to give you a base life history on a patient’s condition. They may have a cardiac condition that we may need to know about, they may have a previous trauma that we may need to know about; and as well as allergies. We carry many medications, over 30 medications and some of these medications patients may be allergic to, and that’s something that we really need to know about,” Lindauer stated in a MedeFile testimonial.

Brian Bernick, MD Obstetrics and Gynecology, a MedeFile member, witnessed firsthand the terrors of Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath and the “chaos” that came with each patient as he tried to determine their identities, allergies, doses or previous medical conditions. He suggests that having those patients’ files on hand could have maximized care and timeliness.

“Had those patients been subscribers to the MedeFile we would’ve been able to instantaneously maximize their care. I think this technology is applicable to any patient of any age whether it is a child keeping track of their medication, immunization history to the most elderly patient keeping track of their life long history of medications, surgeries, any medical history that they might have, and I think that this is an opportunity of a life time for a patient to be in charge and maintain their medical records,” Bernick stated.

MedeFile International Inc. (MDFI.OB) – A Source to Gain Full Picture of Patient’s Health

Today society is more mobile than ever before. Families no longer live in the same house for decades. Individuals no longer stay employed with the same company for 20 years. People now move when they are offered a better career opportunity. Organizing a move and starting a new job is stressful enough without having to think of all the paperwork that needs to be transferred. Becoming a member of MedeFile would take care of one key element wherever or whenever an individual or family transfers to a new location.

The MedeFile system provides users, hospitals, and physicians access to medical records 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any authorized hospital or physician can have access to a member’s digital records. When starting with a new physician, patients must normally provide all former medical paperwork from a previous doctor and/or hospital, as well as arrange an initial consultation and verbally go through their medical history. If someone has no physical conditions, this can be done quite easily. For those who have had health issues, this can be a daunting task.

Dr. Steven Orshan provided the following example: “I saw a young woman this afternoon referred from a cardiologist for chest pain. In the middle of the examination she stated that she forgot to tell me that her echocardiogram in the cardiologist’s office showed elevation of the pressure in the arteries of her lung (an important point). Needless to say she did not have the report. I called the cardiologists office to fax me the information. A half hour later I received the electrocardiogram not the echocardiogram. I called back and they were closed.”

Physicians know the benefits of having access to a patient’s complete medical history. Rather than spending time testing to narrow down issues in the patient’s past, MedeFile technology provides physicians with an immediate resource to understand a patient’s health status. The system allows physicians to invest time providing patients with the best care possible.

Tragic International Story Shows Need for Companies Like MedeFile International Inc. (MDFI.OB)

An article recently published by ABC News tells the story of an elderly couple, Don and Marlene Bryce, who took a cruise to the Mediterranean aboard a Holland America vessel. Unfortunately, tragedy struck on what was supposed to be the vacation of a lifetime, celebrating Don’s retirement.

According to the ship’s records, Don became ill a little over a week into the trip. After several calls to the onboard physician, Marlene reported no improvement in her husband’s condition. Four days later, on the floor of their cabin, Don Bryce passed away from a massive heart attack.

While it has been ruled that the staff aboard the ship acted in a manner consistent with professional medical procedure, Marlene Bryce is not certain that proper care was taken in the handling of Don’s situation. Mr. Bryce had a history of heart trouble, and the wait-and-see approach that was adopted by medical personnel, she feels, ultimately cost her husband his life.

MedeFile offers individuals the ability to carry digital copies of a patient’s complete medical history; a technology which, in this particular case, could have saved a man from death and a family from inexplicable grief. In the article concerning Don Bryce’s passing, ABC News advises readers to carry a complete medical record at all times, especially when leaving the country.

MedeFile’s process allows you to feel safe in the knowledge that no matter how far from your home you might travel, attending physicians will be adequately aware of your personal history should you require treatment. It might not only be a good idea, but might just save your life.

MedeFile International Inc. (MDFI.OB) Offers Safer Alternative to Google Health

Google Health offers people the ability to organize their health records. However, many people are extremely skeptical of claims made by a company with a history of brushing security vulnerabilities under the rug. Do you really want to trust a huge corporation with the privacy of your personal medical data, especially when its integrity in that arena is continually in question? For most of us, the answer is no.

As if a relatively checkered past regarding security breaches was not enough, it has been pointed out that Google does not fall under the category of a “covered entity” according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. Congress instituted this act in order to safeguard health care access and portability, and to prevent health care fraud and abuse. Many people are concerned with the way Google has found a legal loophole to skirt around HIPAA-imposed regulations in the collection and retention of personal health information.

MedeFile boasts a medical record maintenance solution to which we can safely say yes. All of the company’s practices are HIPAA-compliant, and were developed by physicians with the patient in mind. Upon receipt of your records, the company certifies that they will be kept under strict lock-and-key, 100-percent secure from unauthorized access.

When it comes to your health, and that of your family, you simply cannot afford to roll the dice. MedeFile not only provides customers with a simple one-stop solution to suit individual needs, it provides them with peace of mind.

Medefile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) Announces Alliance with Newark Fraternal Order of Police; Reports Enthusiastic Response

Medefile International, Inc. announced after the bell that it will provide every Newark Fraternal Order of Police (NFOP) member police officer, including those retired, with MedeFile Basic memberships which can be upgraded to MedeFile Premium memberships. Medefile has already enrolled nearly 1,000 police officers throughout the U.S., during its recent participation in National Police Week at Washington, D.C.

The president of NFOP, Derick Hatcher, stated, “Law enforcement is a very dangerous business, requiring police officers to place their lives at risk every single day. In the event of a medical emergency involving an officer - particularly one in which he or she may be unconscious or otherwise unable to communicate, having immediate access to critical medical insight about the officer could prove to be vital. Teaming with MedeFile will ensure that our member officers are never without their personal emergency medical information.”

Milton Hauser, CEO and president of Medefile, commented, “It is MedeFile’s opinion that having immediate access to personal medical records is just as important as carrying a firearm when it comes to providing enhanced security and protection for an officer. Consequently, our sales and marketing teams have been actively engaged in discussions and marketing initiatives targeting our nation’s law enforcement agencies, and our message is beginning to resonate throughout the country.”

Medefile stated that its mission is to revolutionize the healthcare industry and empower patients by providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ secure solution for acquisition, organization and management of all actual medical, dental and general health records and images, regardless of their origin or nature. “This televised ad campaign is designed to help educate consumers nationwide on the many benefits, convenience and peace of mind afforded by the MedeFile system,” stated Milton Hauser, founder, chairman and CEO of MedeFile. “The recent violent storms, tornados and mass flooding that have destroyed homes and businesses throughout the Midwest are a yet another painful reminder that natural disasters can occur quickly, leaving little time to secure vital documents such as medical records. MedeFile’s members know that whatever comes - be it natural disaster, fire, document misplacement or the closing of a medical or dental practice, their health records are safe, secure and accessible to them, emergency first responders and authorized healthcare providers anytime, anywhere.”

The result of such timely and up-to-date data enhances patients’ medical outcomes without unnecessary costs such as redundancy in testing and treatment protocols, or the hassle and cost typically associated with managing and transfer of unwieldy ‘paper’ records and files.

Members empower themselves by subscribing to the MedeFile’s electronic system to take control of their own health and well-being, and ensure their healthcare providers have the information readily available to make sound and lifesaving decisions. Finally, unlike other medical record management solutions, MedeFile does the work of collecting, archiving and maintaining all records on behalf of its members.

“It is our belief that only MedeFile can succeed in helping to standardize electronic medical records management in this country, because it is the most comprehensive, robust patient-centric platform in existence. Through national awareness initiatives, such as this television ad campaign, we intend to bring MedeFile to the forefront of the industry and gain the level of momentum necessary to affect meaningful, positive change in the delivery of quality health care for all Americans,” added Hauser.

MedeFile is headquartered in New Jersey and has offices in Southern California and South Florida. MedeFile’s primary product is its unique system for gathering and digitizing information so that individuals can have access to a comprehensive set of their medical records. This is a highly secure system, and is designed to gather all of its members’ actual medical records and create a single resource that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The MedeFile system uses today’s technology in an easy-to-use approach to portable electronic medical records management. MedeFile combines state-of-the-art technology and the Internet to make medical data instantly accessible to each MedeFile subscriber and his or her authorized healthcare providers from anywhere in the world. MedeFile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) Gives API Marketing Exclusive Rights to Market MedeFile Memberships

MedeFile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) announced that it has entered into an agreement with API Marketing, Sales & Advertising Company to market MedeFile memberships to more than 100,000 retail outlets in the U.S. and Canada.

API was founded by CEO and President Alex Papas more than 20 years ago. Based in South Florida, API employs more than 500 independent sales representatives in the continental U.S., Hawaii, and Canada. API specializes in marketing consumer products and services in convenience stores, gas stations, bodegas, health food stores and independent pharmacies. The agreement with MedeFile provides API with exclusive rights to market their memberships throughout its sales network.

Papas stated, “Once we understood what the MedeFile solution was, we came to the fast conclusion that there is simply no one who should be without it. Aside from providing peace of mind, convenience and security, this cost effective and tech-savvy electronic medical record management solution is also environmentally friendly, helping to eliminate, to large degree, the need for producing hard copies of health records. Based on my own personal, harrowing medical experiences involving unnecessary and costly redundant testing, I believe that MedeFile is indeed capable of having a very positive — if not profound — impact on the U.S. healthcare system. Consequently, API is very excited about having the opportunity to partner with MedeFile to bring this important new technology to the attention of U.S. consumers everywhere.”

MedeFile and API will work together to create a high-impact point-of-sale, MedeFile-branded ‘rack card’ and ‘stickers’. MedeFile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) Makes Strides in Stock Market This Month

MedeFile International, Inc. (MDFI.OB) has made tremendous positive movement in the stock market in the past several weeks. After starting out the month at $0.11 per share, MDFI closed at $0.32 per share yesterday. A steady, three-fold increase in one month shows the confidence being built behind MedeFile.

MedeFile is focused on developing its technology and services to assist people in gathering and organizing key healthcare data. The company collects all of a patient’s records and digitalizes the medical records into a comprehensive file that can be accessed through a specially designed portable drive or through a call to its central data center.

As physicians and consumers learn about the benefits of the MedeFile services, interest in the company has blossomed. MedeFile has been able to enter into a variety of agreements this year with practices and companies that understand the void in the medical business that MedeFile is filling.

The Personal Choice Family Practice in Jupiter, Florida, was one of the first facilities to show its confidence in MedeFile. Dr. Lorne Stitsky, known locally as the “House Call Doc”, leads the concierge medical practice and wanted to “practice medicine the old fashioned way – but with a high tech twist.” The twist is providing each of his 400 patients with a standard MedeFile membership in conjunction with at-home and same-day appointments.

Dr. Stitsky previously had a practice that supported over 30,000 patients and on average would see at least 30 per day. “In that fast-paced, time-constrained environment, ensuring the delivery of superior medical care with any level of consistency unfortunately proved challenging, if not altogether impossible. Moreover, the highly inefficient use of time and resources spent tracking down old medical records, insurance information, test results and critical clinical data from other care specialists who were also treating my patients proved both frustrating and costly.”

In May, Hayes Clinical Laboratory agreed to market MedeFile services to its patients. Nearly 500 heathcare practitioners refer their patients to the Hayes facilities for testing. Hayes’ five laboratory locations in South Florida administer testing to over 180,000 patients annually, and often see identical testing being performed on patients. The Hayes management team hopes that the MedeFile services will reduce the testing redundancy often seen in its client base.

Earlier this month, API Marketing, Sales & Advertising Company agreed to market MedeFile memberships to consumers in its 100,000 retail outlets located throughout the Continental U.S., Hawaii, and Canada. API specializes in marketing consumer products to convenience stores, gas stations, bodegas, health food stores, and independent pharmacies.

CEO and President of API, Alex Pappas, stated, “Once we understood what the MedeFile solution was, we came to the fast conclusion that there is simply no one who should be without it. Aside from providing peace of mind, convenience and security, this cost effective and tech-savvy electronic medical record management solution is also environmentally friendly, helping to eliminate, to large degree, the need for producing hard copies of health records.”

Chairman and CEO of MedeFile, Milton Hauser, recently stated, “MedeFile is on a mission to educate the nation’s healthcare community on the fact that centralizing actual medical records with the patient is the key to achieving real, positive change to the U.S. healthcare delivery system. By winning the support of respected medical institutions and providers, such as Hayes Labs, we are succeeding in helping others to realize and appreciate the many important convenience, care-enhancing and cost-saving benefits made possible with the MedeFile solution.”
