Oracle has a very long history of being a good company with stable profits. ORCL on average moves up slowly over time. I think if the market does not match ORCL's slow growth, which is the case right now, then ORCL will outperform. However, I have to say that I don't believe that the stock is trading at a discount, but that it is a relatively safe bet over a few year's time.

If you are looking for safety in this "credit crisis" then ORCL could be good. If you are looking for sheer performance, I would look elsewhere.

If its clear growth track is know then isnt this already priced into the stock? what is on the horizon that investors dont already know about
