I own some shares of Schiff (SHF) which used to be listed as WNI. Strong Performer.

Timely Investment 05/19/11
I recently purchased shares in Illinois Tool Works (ITW) and believe that its outstanding earnings report and consistency financially will bode well for this stock. This is a good play on the ongoing economic and industrial recovery in USA.

Earnings Report 05/19/11
The latest earnings report exceeded expectations both on revenue and earnings. They also raised guidance. With reasonable PEG, I purchased some shares as this stock appears to have legs.

Sharpguy, Certainly the price performance of this stock has been a big disappointment. I am not a holder of these shares at this time. They did recently dispose of their AC Motor division and called it a 'disappointment'. I don't know if they are the "laughing stock" but certainly it pays to limit losses on one's best selections which can leave anyone with a bad taste.

Walter, Thanks for the friend request. I agree with you assessment. They seem to be afraid to induce any additional panic or aggravating a further fall so they end up appearing to be cheerleaders and Pollyannas. Anyhow, it isn't hard to figure it out. Bob
